Town Hall

Our story, our vision

In times past, the Hebden Bridge Town Hall (the 'council offices') was the centre of local civic and community life. We want to make it once again the hub of our community.

The community-run charity Hebden Bridge Community Association Ltd agreed with Calderdale council to take over control and management of this key building in our town, in a pioneering asset transfer agreement. The asset transfer took place on April 1st 2010.

At the same time we have successfully raised a little over £3m for a major development on the site, to create a proper hub for the Hebden Bridge community where there will be access to services from Calderdale, facilities for community groups and a base for small enterprises.
